The acquisition of experience about the elbow joint of workers with “vibration
syndrome of the upper limb” by High Resolution Computed Tomography (HRCT).
Workers with complains of the upper limb undervent
conventional two directional plai radiography and HRCT of elbows. Three
experts read films independently and common opinions were collected.
Preliminary results suggest that the light of osteochondrosis
dissecans cubiti is better demonstrated by axial sections of HRCT in contrast
to the conventional radiography. Relying upon these findings allows an
early differential diagnosis between arthrosis and osteochondrosis dissecans
cubiti which is important in therapy and compensation.
Data from a larger population may prove this preliminary
opinion.
